Anyone can help me with steps to install this. Im new to OBB file installation. From what i read is to install original APK from google play. Take out the legit obb files and replace it with the modded obb files but when i do that the game forces me to install the official obb files "when it says downloading data files" how do i stop that from happening?

I got a s21 ultra. I installed the original APK from google play. It says downloading data files. Then i replace the games original obb files with the provided ones on this site. And when i start game bakc up again it makes me download data files again and nothing happens. Game still says i got 60 turns left or w.e.

For those of you who are having issues getting the app to verify after installation on Android 13/OneUI 5, I solved it by creating an empty folder with the name com.aspyr.civvi inside of Android/data/. That's all it takes to get the app to verify and then launch. Works great!
EDIT: This fix works works for side loading the unmodded APK. Gonna need a new mod though, all the various versions I tried are broken.
