Lol i tried to use VPN with my phone but couldn't get it to work either. Tunnelbear, Fsecure... Whenever i try to open the VPN from the app it becomes of right away. I guess my Pandora days are over.

Edit: Just reread what you wrote and I gather you turn VPN on and it instantly turns off? You might want to set up at least one dummy VPN on the phone, so the others work, seem to remember someone having a similar issue before.

Had an old Pandora 4.1.2 version by Asx (or was it a 5.0 version released by Rydah??) that bypassed the region lock. Ünfortunately, I don't find it anymore. Has anybody this version on his disc and can share it? Better an old version than no Pandora, since xposed doens't work on L anymore.

I suppose it's the DNS that's flaky as OP says? Because 3.5.4 was working and all of a sudden it's not. Have not worked for a week. Will try VPN.

I'm using Hola VPN and it works for me (Germany).
It should work for everybody else too and they do also have a Windows application that works flawless

It seems I was overy guessing myself. I wasn't using region bypass as the alternative DNS was active on my phone.

In the previous versions of Pandora (5.5 and earlier) it didn't work with the DNS through the application although it did through the web browser. This is why I assumed (wrongly) that the region bypass was working.

Patcher 3.5.6 works fine with Pandora 5.5. You might need to clear caches and force close Pandora due to it now using different partner credentials when logging in for MP3 of any kind, it was the only way to unify the settings and hopefully end the confusion regarding the Pandora One login option.
