Overview: Podcast listening finally made easier
Stay up to date with all the latest podcasts (or netcasts if you're Leo) with one easy to use app. Simply add your favourite podcasts, and you'll be able to stream or download new episodes as they become available.
Features:
- Instant refresh: Refresh 100 podcasts in the same time it takes other apps to do 1! (our server monitors your feeds, so your phone doesn't have to)
- Stream or download without file size limits, over 3G or WIFI.
- Import your podcasts from Google Reader/Listen or via OPML.
- Sleep Timer! Fall asleep to your favourite boring podcasts.
- New episodes page, with configurable filters.
- Background downloading
- Widget (4x1) for controlling playback (tap artwork to jump back into app)
- Be notified when new episodes are available (optional)

People sometimes ask us: How do you guys manage to maintain such a high level of awesome? To which we always reply: your mu...no wait, that wasn't it. Ummm two Shifty Jelly developers walk into a bar...you'd think one of them would have seen it. ONE OF THEM! SEEEN IT! BAAAR! Oh never mind.
We fixed the playback issues some Samsung users were having. Because everybody deserves crystal clear playback, even those people with questionable taste in phones
The Pocket Casts live keynote just finished and all the leaked rumours were true!
- The discovery section now has a laser powered Trending podcasts chart, to help find new awesome podcasts*
- Lots of design tweaks using DesignerBrain technology(TM). Including improved images and better download notifications**
- Many bug fixes. So many. Really.
* Yes, real frickin' lasers. PEW PEW PEW.
** A real designer was used but he was only mildly injured in the process.
v4.8.3:
- Variable speed playback fixes: more Darth Vader and Alvin & The Chipmunks removal. Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox can be so mean sometimes. It was fair use I tells ya!
- Download fixes: we found some cases where auto download wouldn't, well auto download. Now it auto downloads. Automatically.
- Fixed a bug that could cause a podcast to start playing from the beginning after a phone call. I can't believe you people still make calls on these things!
