Try this. Go on facebook, go to account settings, apps, logged in with facebook, spotify, remove app. And then go to spotify app and login with facebook

I use Lucky Patcher to update the host file, and get No Ads on a rooted LG G2.

Can you tell me exactly how you're editing it? I use LP too, so I assume similar changes would work for me too.

I've done some general troubleshooting like wiping cache, dalvik cache, wiping app data, etc. Still get the audio ad interruptions with the Lucky Patcher method and with the AdAway method. If anyone else has advice on getting rid of the audio ads I'd appreciate it.

Sounds silly, but have you double checked you're rooted with root checker app? Up updated SU binaries?
