Overview: Getting pregnant in the first semester wasn’t exactly the plan, but Silas and Spacey are determined to make it work anyway. They both want a family. Silas is excited. They both are. So when she wakes up in the middle of the night, terrified she might be having a miscarriage, she needs Spacey’s normal level head more than anything. Being greeted by the opposite of that… That’s not how Spacey normally reacts and is definitely not what she needs.
Desperate she attempts to use her gift to calm him. Only that’s not what ends up happening. And instead she finds herself holding onto an unconscious body. Her own unconscious body. That’s never happened before. That wasn’t supposed to happen now. And she’s no idea what the hell she’s just done. Worse still she no longer has access to her gift, so she can’t just swap them back.
To cap it all off, even with her family’s help, it’s going to take a while to fix the mess they’re in. But that’s okay. It will take as long as it takes. It’s not as if they’re in any real danger… Right?
