A Vampire's Guide to Adulting (#10)
Sarah Wright has experienced no shortage of stressful situations since becoming a vampire, but she’s about to face the most terrifying one yet—being the adult in the room.
Nine months into undeath, Sarah’s found her stride. She’s comfortable in her fangs, managing family and school, and relatively content. Treating her parents to a weeklong vacation in Iceland sounded like an awesome idea back in December, but the reality of being responsible for her siblings while they’re away is terrifying. She’d be less afraid of a twelve-foot-tall troll.
Wait… only a dream. Magic portals aren’t real. Right?
The first few days playing mom give her weak hope she might not screw things up too bad. All seems manageable until the local vampires come calling. Her probationary period is over. Time to become official. Arthur Wolent couldn’t have picked a worse time to send her on an errand.
It’s only a simple delivery—to Southern California—while her siblings are home without parents. What could go wrong?

Ancient Vampire Death Cults and Other Annoyances (#12)
Sarah Wright has a job to die for.
She never asked for it, never even filled out an application. To be fair, she didn’t ask to die either. Ever since she woke up as a vampire, she only wanted to unlive in as ordinary a way as possible. Alas, the realities of undeath and awakening to the greater existence of the supernatural made certain demands of the family.
Her friends have ordinary summer jobs. Sarah runs errands for the vampire boss of Seattle. It isn’t such a bad gig when she’s not being shot at, chased, clawed up, thrown around, or scrambling to keep her family safe.
A ‘simple’ job to determine the intentions of vampiric exiles new to the area predictably blows up in her face and leaves her playing chicken against an elder bent on destroying society.
At least if she messes up this time, the world won’t be destroyed… probably.

A Vampire's Guide to Work-Unlife Balance (#17)
Threats of doom and destruction coming from the backyard barbecue grill are a bad portent—especially when they’re not from Dad’s cooking.

Sarah Wright has pretty much gotten into her groove with the whole vampire thing. Unlife’s pretty darn nifty... except when the Forces of Evil™ keep showing up to ruin her day. She wants to be normal: go to college, help her family, look after a vampire child, and try not to annoy anyone more powerful than the dude on the street corner collecting donations for his kid’s soccer team.

The biggest downside to getting in the way of a demonic-infused undead is how they tend to carry grudges. It wants to destroy her emotionally before it kills her. Since Firefly already got cancelled, it has no choice but to attack her family. Fortunately, this particular demon is trapped in another plane of existence.

How much harm can it really do from there?

Sarah’s about to find out.

Eternity and You: Tips for the Young Vampire (#18)
Sarah Wright isn’t sure what to do with her future, but at least she has an eternity to make up her mind.

Vampirism comes with amazing perks and a whole bunch of craziness. Two years into unlife, her insecurities are settling into place. The future’s starting to feel manageable, if more than a bit strange. It doesn’t matter if she chooses a good major for college anymore. One big weight does remain balanced on her back: what to do about the whole boyfriend situation.

Dating a mortal is fun for now, though it will get awkward after a decade or so. What’s an eternal teenage vampire supposed to do?

To complicate matters, the boss asks her to help an old vampire adjust to the modern world. Sounds simple, except for two serious problems.

He appears to be about her age… and he’s gorgeous.
