Vampires of Mowrashaled by Patrick Wendling-Markwell (Both of these books are Book #1)

Overview: Patrick Wendling-Markwell has been writing since he was a child and has written many newspaper and magazine articles as well as poetry and short stories. It was only recently though that he decided to write books full time, leaving behind a career in EMS. As an author he has decided to try his hand in many genres from fantasy, thrillers, horror, mysteries, M/M erotica and more. He has won many awards over the years for his articles and you can even find several of his poems at the International Library of Congress where he won the Editor's Choice Award three years in a row.

# 1 Bloody Shadows (Published August 2012)
Nineteen year old Matthew was a college student and waiter in Portland, OR barely making ends meet. Lately after leaving work he has been going out of his way to get home by taking a route he doesn't need to take.
Jarred is a 2,600 year old vampire who has traveled alone through time, lonely and despondent waiting for lost love to catch up. Enter Matthew. Through random coincidences and set ups by Jarred and some unknown force, Matt is finally transformed into a vampire, then flung back through time and space to ancient Greece. Now Matthew must live through 2611 years of time just to get back to the one he loves.
Blood, battles, love, and more take place in this first book in a four part series. Time travel, paradox and armies of undead and alive both to strike back at evil
# 1 A Vampire Out of Time (Published May 2014)
Matthew is having a hard time believing the direction his life has taken. Luck seems to abound once he meets Jarred. However, Jarred harbors a secret; a secret which turns Matthew's world upside down. After a chance meeting with a vampire, the world has to do something in order to prevent a paradox. Matthew is hurtled back through time by nearly three thousand years. He quickly creates a small coven of vampires. His small coven become his lovers who follow him through time back to present day where they have to begin the process of hunting down rogue evil vampires. Matthew wants to destroy a particular evil and regain his two lost loves, Jarred and Apollon. Back in present day reality, Matthew brings together humans and vampires alike to form an army so he can wage war. Then, in steps three new types of allies all ready to fight by his side and maybe bring a bit more love and chaos to his life.
