We felt the ship began to back like a train and I heard my Father say something. Then he left and my Mother came and sat on the edge of my bed and said that Father had gone to see what was happening...
Le Coeur de la Mer' tells the tale of two little girls of different social classes who boarded the Titanic for her maiden voyage. They meet by chance and whilst the clock counts down to the fatal hitting of the ice berg, their friendship grows, but their differences are soon highlighted when the ships passengers are told to begin boarding the lifeboats.
