According to folklore, the Battle of the Teuteburg Forest which Arminius choreographed in the year 9AD, is the very beginning of Germany’s national epic, the body of literature that the gives the nation its historic identity.

02 The Battle for Teuteburg Forest
Appalled by Romes’ brutal counterinsurgency against the Germanic tribes, Arminius is beginning to despise the legions he is forced to serve in. When the Norns, the goddesses that spin the life threats, decide to test him, Arminius defects to join the Germanic resistance. Soon he grows into the leader, the anti-Roman tribes needed to unite their forces in an organised uprising in the legendary Teuteburg Forest.
