The Primal Hunter 8: A LitRPG Adventure by Zogarth
Requirements: .M4A/.M4B reader, 1.06 GB
Overview: Enjoying his time in the evil Order of the Malefic Viper, Jake finds himself unprepared as Earth calls…

Out of nowhere, Jake gets his alchemy training interrupted as he is forced back to the first universe to deal with a sudden emergency. Earth has been invaded by another Chosen with plans that do not include a fair fight, assisted by natives unsatisfied with the status quo.

The feeble political balance on Earth is shattered as factions take advantage of the sudden turmoil to exercise the wills of their gods. War breaks out, and every force finds themselves implicated one way or another.

On his way to face the enemy Chosen, Jake explores parts of Earth he has never seen before, makes new allies, gets to know more of the Malefic Viper’s most treasured secrets through incredibly invasive visions of the past, improves his abilities, and gets plenty of those sweet, sweet levels.

But before all that… it’s time to dispense justice upon the most evil beings in all of existence: Mushroom Men.

Portal Wars series by Jay Allan (#1-3)
Requirements: ePUB/MOBI readers, 2.2 MB
Overview: I'm a long time SF&F fan whose been writing for 25 years, though mostly non-fiction and ghost writing. My tastes usually run to gritty, dystopian fiction, and I tend to like my heroes to be a little flawed. Of course sometimes I need to pull out my dog-eared Lensman books of the Best of Edmond Hamilton for a guilty pleasure - some pulpy space opera that differs considerably from what I am usually reading.
I tend to like a major investment in the world-building aspect of science fiction and fantasy, and this is true whether I am writing or reading.
I live in New York, and beyond writing (and reading) I enjoy travel, hiking, and running.

Lily and the Octopus by Steven Rowley
Requirements: .ePUB, .MOBI/.AZW reader, 612 KB
Overview: Combining the emotional depth of The Art of Racing in the Rain with the magical spirit of The Life of Pi, Lily and the Octopus is an epic adventure of the heart.

When you sit down with Lily and the Octopus, you will be taken on an unforgettable ride.

The magic of this novel is in the read, and we don’t want to spoil it by giving away too many details. We can tell you that this is a story about that special someone: the one you trust, the one you can’t live without.

For Ted Flask, that someone special is his aging companion Lily, who happens to be a dog. Lily and the Octopus reminds us how it feels to love fiercely, how difficult it can be to let go, and how the fight for those we love is the greatest fight of all.

Remember the last book you told someone they had to read? Lily and the Octopus is the next one.
